Sunset over Creston Valley

As the sun dips behind the Selkirk mountains, the Creston Valley is transformed. The sky erupts in sweeping ribbons of gold, amber, and turquoise setting the whole scene ablaze. Below, a patchwork of farm fields glow in the last light stretching across the valley floor, while the Kootenay River winds quietly through. Dark mountain silhouettes frame the scene on either side, and the tips of evergreens rise above the hillside, reaching toward the brilliant sky above the valley floor.
